Tiny bots. A big idea.
A browser arena for ridiculous robot shootouts.
Rumbots is an independent browser game playtest about small robots, oversized guns, and the satisfying feeling of a streak getting completely out of hand.
The idea
Movement comes first. Left and Right turn your robot, Up runs forward, and a second jump opens routes between arena levels. Automatic firing makes the game approachable without precise mouse aiming. The first robot to 100 eliminations wins.
What you can play today
The current version is an anonymous online arena with 25 total fighter slots, across four rotating landscapes, with third-person view, double jumps, weapon pickups, and escalating kill-streak weapons. It runs in a compatible browser on desktop or phone. The 3D version uses WebGL, with a simpler fallback available when 3D rendering is unavailable.
What is still in development
Rumbots is a work in progress. Players can join ongoing rounds. A joining person replaces a bot; bots fill empty slots. Everyone receives a generated funny name. There are no persistent accounts, global leaderboards, or cross-device saved progress. Movement, collision handling, visuals, and balance may change as the game develops.
A distinct little universe
The Rumbots world has googly-eyed robots, cartoon hit effects, and weapons with names like Bonkinator and Mega Honker. Rumbots is independently operated and is not affiliated with Roblox or any other game platform.
Built for the browser
The game loads when you choose to enter the arena. You can explore the rules and FAQs without downloading the 3D game engine. See our Privacy page for information about the current playtest’s data practices.
